Studied visual arts in high school, where he tried to write his first manga, though without success. Years later, for personal reasons, he began writing Underworld purely out of a love for art, and eventually published the work. He currently balances his work on Underworld with his studies in Product Design at the university. Passionate about art in general, he draws most of his inspiration from film, painting, and music.
